Why it was made

The backlog you keep meaning to finish

Playedify connects to a Steam account and pulls in the library, so games, playtime and completion status are recorded without manual entry. From there it keeps a personal history: ratings, notes, stats by genre, completion streaks and yearly wrap-ups, synced across phone, tablet and desktop. A PRO tier imports the Steam wishlist and watches prices across stores, sending an alert when a game reaches a set target price.

It is a tracker and a deal watcher, not a store or a launcher. It does not sell games, and the catalogue information comes from IGDB rather than being maintained in-house. The free account covers library tracking and stats; wishlist price monitoring, notifications and theme customisation sit behind the paid tier.
