Privacy.

Hunchmade handles free product listings and optional private backing applications separately. This page explains the data each flow uses.

Submission data

The link, the words, the tools, where it runs, your name and your email address are stored as a private draft in Sanity for editorial review. Your email is never shown on the site and is used only to tell you what happened to the thing you sent in. Nothing goes on Hunchmade until it has been read and approved. When you submit, Hunchmade fetches the page once to draft the words, and the AI-prepared draft, logo and screenshots are stored with the thing you sent in until it has been read.

Backing applications

Your application and commercial information are not added to the public directory. When the application service is enabled, it stores your name, email, product details, stage, optional pricing and usage evidence, distribution needs and confirmation as private Sanity drafts for authorised review. It does not fetch the application URL, publish a listing, share the answers with analytics or send a marketing email.

Applications are accessible through the authenticated editorial Studio. There is no public application lookup. Ask for access, correction or removal at the contact below. Please do not send credentials, customer lists or detailed financial statements.

Applying does not guarantee backing or commit either party to a partnership. Any funding and revenue-sharing terms will be agreed separately.

Email

An optional email address on a free listing is used for its editorial decision through the configured transactional provider, Resend. Backing applications display a saved confirmation only; no application confirmation email is sent. Weekly-email sign-up is not open, and neither flow subscribes you to marketing.

Analytics

We count discovery clicks, backing CTA clicks, application starts, saved applications and failures, free-listing starts and saves, and badge-copy actions. Names, email addresses, revenue figures, application answers and product URLs are not included in analytics events. Anonymous, cookie-free page analytics run through Vercel Analytics; the same limited events are counted there and nothing identifies you. No behaviour is scored or used to rank anything.
