No. 020
Glance
A cross-browser extension that brings an Apple-style Dynamic Island to your desktop with media controls, live lyrics, and a Pomodoro Focus Mode.
Made by Akshar Srijan.
Why it was made
Keep the music controls within reach
I was frustrated by having to constantly switch tabs to pause my music or check lyrics while studying. I wanted a beautiful, Apple-style Dynamic Island that hovered over my work, but nobody had built a good cross-browser version. As a student, I used AI to help me overcome the massive learning curve of Chrome Extension development and strict sandboxing to build it myself.
